go look at any equivalent corp action. There will be half a dozen dedicated funds doing this all day everyday.
by definition you could buy almost half the entire MC of TPD and not have a disclosable position on conversion to STX in December. It’s just not that big a deal.
however, it’s obviously a drag on STX in the meantime.
which is frustrating if you are looking for a quick buck as almost everyone here seems to be
