Don't really know which thread to put this under, kind of commercial but relating to OCC's use of autologous chondrocytes, of which Vericel has already put to use in the US market.
I no longer own Vericel shares (reinvested proceeds in OCC) so don't follow that closely. I missed an investor presentation from them that includes information on the commercial progression of FDA approved MACI. It has some useful data and insight on where OCC clearly HOPE to take ACI commercially in the future, IF it gets chance (one would think so after the BH deal and emerging sales growth), though Vericel clearly first to market - CelGro (Striate & Remplir) coming from Professor Ming Hao Zheng
(MACI for those investors who don't know, combines a collagen membrane [sound familiar] with OCC's ACI; the CEO and CSO (Zheng) of OCC having sold some of the rights of ACI to Vericel for some $50 million ahead of the creation of OCC).
