    Well, it's easy to be wise in hindsight and slap labels on charts. I mean, I could pull up just about any chart, any time frame, and hunt for patterns if I really wanted to.

    But the thing is, trading solely based on what you see can be pretty subjective and unreliable.

    I prefer a different approach. I'm all about that raw data, especially institutional volume trading at the bid or offer. It's all about keeping it objective and making decisions – long or short – based on probabilities.

    Perhaps you can change my mind on this, but I haven't come across a consistently effective technical trading strategy for short-term trading.

    I want to be clear; I'm not here to criticize your skills – I'm sure you're a skilled trader.

    My concern lies with the perpetuation of myths, such as the idea that market makers have it out for retail traders or that they manipulate the market.

    In my experience, Institutions just want to meet the obligations to thier stakeholders
