records by white settlers describe Aboriginal people as fit and strong with little illness. couple this with the facts of an excellent balanced and varied diet, physical prowess showing strength and durable fitness and the absence of many diseases that plagued colonists, until white people brought smallpox and other infections.
also they had no alcohol or tobacco, no sugars other than occasional honey from native bees, no poverty, and understood a wealth of effective medicinal flora and how to live with the many dangerous animals such as snakes and spiders all suggest a very strong immune system and great health which would necessarily result in long life.
also many carcinogens were brought by colonists. they changed the diet of Aboriginal people by offering them bread and other foods that result in poorer health, the introduced them to tobacco and grog.... so of course they suffered worsening health due to the invasion and capture by whites.
