You seem not to understand what is going on. People aren't rejecting the aboriginal people, they are rejecting the blatantly racist idea that racial lineage is the primary factor in determining who you are in society, what help you need or how much say you should have in how our country is run.
More importantly you seem to think that the Yes campaign is run by aboriginals for the benefit of aboriginals when in fact this is not the case at all. The vast majority running the Yes cult are white wannabes desperate to secure a place at the trough and get their face on camera. Its hardly a surprise that so many has-beens are suddenly popping up and willing to say anything to get their faces in the limelight. One wonders how much they are also getting remunerated from our tax dollars to do so.
I find it disgusting when somebody repeatedly tries to guilt people into submission by making blatantly false statements like some of the ones you have made in these threads.
I find it funny watching last night's debate on 7. Who was desperately pushing the yes campaign? A old white dinosaur, Ray Martin, who has made it his business to insult people in a last desperate attempt to intimidate swinging voters into the supporting the yes cult. Who was on the No side? Two aboriginal women from different sides of the political spectrum telling us quite clearly that this is an the idea of Aboriginal people and they did not agree to or support this. Quite telling wasn't it? The majority of aboriginals were arguing NO and a geriatric former celebrity was busy telling us what those two aboriginal women needed as if they weren't there and completely ignoring what they themselves said.
What else did you notice in last night's debate? Of the 5 people there, all 3 woman were aboriginal and all three of them were elected members of parliament. Just some of the many aboriginals who are already part of the system representing their constituents which is how a democracy works. And from what I saw some of them were doing a good job at having the Australian people listen to what they thought and needed, whilst the other was busy preaching that despite having a seat in parliament she needs to be treated as "special". Then there was Ray just telling us that we are all to dumb to understand, just like you appear to be doing.
