While I respect the thought, you would be brave to suggest that we are de-coupling from the US

I would be more inclined to think economies decouple themselves or lag behind,just as Japan did

Its a nice thought , but in reality for now I think its just a nice fantasy, we are but a pea on a pumpkin, lets not kid ourselves too much

The love affair with the US unfortunately is probably greater/stronger than the push for a economic revolution at this stage, and while China certainly could lead, I would be more inclined to think a 3 pronged attack is required ( China/India/Brazil) and Im not so certain we are there yet.

You only have to look at the reaction in the last week , Chinese and German data ???

Just a thought though
