You are right Shamish. My view(11-8-10) was that Stanwell being a Govt outfit would not have to ball$ to walk away at this point. They would look silly after just spending $36 million. I also said that if they proceeded there would only be a few cents in it for the sp.
The reason for this is that they still have the age old problem,.....no proven reserves yet, so if we forget the China MOU for awhile,then value will only be created when wells are drilled, gas is flowing in commercial quantities for a sustainable period, and NSA certify sufficient reserves for the gas sales contract.ICN is a long long way from that point, however, the one positive is that Qld taxpayers will be funding the program.
Good luck to all. I still am a close observer but cant see any reason to get back in just yet.
