Honestly mate!!! I really feel sorry for you guys. If you done a tiny bit of research on Florida block building with residential construction. You will find out that the HX would do diddly squat during the building process,.they must have a horizontal reinforced concrete rods and a continuous beam at roof height, around the whole building, carrying over window and door heads, hurricane straps included. Not to mention the vertical cores of reinforced blockwork every 6 feet. All good mate, hopefully it works out for you all. Hopefully FBR will make it some day.
