I agree voting No! is not racist. its merely a personal decision. some of the reasons that some may vote No! may be racist but this doesn't apply to all, I'm sure. but the Voice is not about guilt or hand-wringing. to imagine so is to demean those who support the Voice as you feel that your reasons may be racist. both views are inappropriate.
nor is the Voice about Pearson.... thats merely a distraction.
if people see only the "face-value" without inquiring deeper and being informed, that too is their choice. many will be voting Yes! with the same appreciation of the face-value.
I say, if you don't know, be better informed of both sides of the argument and decide independently, preferably with critical evaluation of arguments for and against.
but I will be voting Yes! because I am well-informed and understand the need for the Voice.
