Its not an ideal worth fighting for, I think if you radically criticised the system it could become workable but at its core it was always about violence and coercion thats why it dresses itself in lies like "free" market.
I'm free because i have lots of money, you are free to rent yourself to any owner you want and to buy whatever you can afford. That's no freedom.
Agree socialism hasnt been tried, I dont know if it a good idea. The soviets of course created famines in Ukraine but that just shows their similarity to similar previous holocausts created by the state-capitalist regimes.
Why should are only options be from bearded guys in 1800's England the world has moved on and we should to.
