No, I meant a disaster as to what is currently going on as standard of care in GvHD, IBD, CHF, CBP, both in terms of treatments and ethics.
Ruxolitinib remaining on the market for aGvHD and being given to young children, even after Reach2 results which showed no benefit over other therapies, of which two were highly questionable. If Rux went head to head with Sirolimus, I'd bet on Rux performing worse. There's still nothing for gut GvHD and people undergoing BMT are still not properly informed about the risks and incidence of GvHD.
If you read some of the studies I referenced which list reasons for death (forgot which ones but I think one is the ATG study that got dismal results in survival), you'll see Bronchiolitis Obliterans comes up not infrequently. IMO this is lung GvHD and its incidence is under-reported because deaths are attributed to other causes.
IBD - Children being treated according to myth and dogma, told that IBD is incurable. My eldest daughter's still on immune suppression for a condition that very likely isn't autoimmune. I distinctly recall the ferocious ad hominem attacks on Borody from the mainstream and their hypocrisy because when the chips are down, they copy what he's doing. An acquaintance of ours didn't even realize their daughter's doctor was doing the triple antibiotic therapy until we passed on his paper to them. (Borody told me the RCT, which showed no efficacy, used sub-therapeutic doses - he says himself tho antibiotics are not necessarily a benign therapy.) When Borody started FMT, the mainstream upped the ante. I have a list of totally irrational objections, some real corkers.
CBP - I wrote here a few years ago that patients were having invasive treatments forced onto them. This is moving into the realm of atrocities.
I think we've reached a crisis point where we can't go on. We've been there for some time but if there's going to be a genuine paradigm shift I anticipate some kind of catalyst. The FDA may well be collegiate but the ones who make the decisions as to what ends up on the market are bureaucrats who work for a global cabal. You can watch them in action on YT. Analyst Toby Rogers (who writes Utobian) was so disturbed by the process involving a product for children he could hardly speak. Problem is as i see it, so many people seem to want to go along with the cabal instead of telling them to sod off.
