I could have traded it but I chose not to.

The rants I've been on have been more on the mark than rational posts I've done. I strongly suspected the FDA would knock back Ryoncil in 2020 because I saw damage control in the media and on this forum two years previously. I was hopeful, but far from certain, about this latest BLA.

I wasn't sure the ARDS trial would meet its PE and said so here in a few posts. So many smart-sounding scientists on this forum groomed us to think the trial would be stopped for overwhelming efficacy. They seemed to know Reme was in a salvage position, which I thought was wrong because the cells need peak inflammation. Even if you didn't know that, it doesn't take much reading up about ARDS to learn that regardless of the cause, most patients haven't died by 30 days.

The slow enrolment was also a major red flag. I'd spent time listening to doctors and nurses online. One interview was with a Spanish doctor (around mid 2020) who was asked by a journalist how many Covid patients he had and he said in the hospital system at that time there were six. The journalist got heated and asked him about "the bodies piled in the street" but the doctor said he hadn't seen any. I also knew there was a big push back from clinicians on Remdesivir.

I didn't think the partnership with Novartis would go ahead either. I didn't need the blatant tip offs by the Mexican food item to tell me that. I did say tho I wouldn't be surprised if the deal didn't work out but I got attacked.

I didn't trade the stock because I knew the crisis we were coming into. In order for money to have value you need some kind of functioning society. Societies that embrace the deepest immorality (medical experimentation without informed consent) risk not surviving because they destroy themselves from within.

I do have hope because I suspect a global power shift to the benign. I've said before I suspect a different group demonstrating a high standard of ethics now has control of the pharmaceutical industry. The move to personalised medicine and the increasing use of organoids will be more ethical for patients and could end the testing on animals. It's almost as if an advanced world is hovering just beyond our reach.

Where MSB is concerned, my take is what we're up against has a genuine desire to set the highest bar perhaps because they know the market won't be small. I know MSB isn't perfect but it's the most advanced and my bet is more on the technology. I did hold at one time hoping to make a lot of money but now I hold for insurance reasons. If something actually good isn't allowed to emerge then to me my money doesn't matter because I could never have peace of mind. My fear is not loss of funds but the loss of things that are more precious to me than money.
