You seem to be (ie:"Putin's humiliation of having to make another "goodwill gesture")

I will believe you that the Ukraine is winning when its armed forces have forced
the Ruskies out of the Ukraine incl. The Crimea.

In the interim, while part of the Ukraine is still occupied by the Russian Armed Forces (not Putin),
that, by definition, is not a win for the Ukraine, IMO.

The BBC latest map seems to say that :
- the Ukrainian counter offensive has been a failure to date , IMO.
-that winter now days away, there is little chance of territorial gains/losses this year, IMO.
