I think OBL have orchestrated this brilliantly to the point one would have to question whether a JV was really ever on the cards or whether it was a hype device to facilitate a share price which allowed for a 4c placement.
Why would they bother with a series of CR when all the hype and the share price is there to do it in one haul right now?
Call me a sucker but I'll still take what I'm given.
I didn't buy for the JV, I bought for what I think are profitable opportunities which OBL has the rights to. Whats in the ground hasn't changed.
Oh and what are peoples thoughts about LNG in all this? Will they be a bit sour that we get 40c shares? Surely they knew this was coming?
