True. Except in China there is no legal system as we understand it. This is why HK is so popular, there still exists the remnants of the British system. There is no transparency in China. Do we even know who ultimately controls the entity which owns the real estate and how that ownership is structured?

The application and enforcement of China’s laws are opaque and whimsical at best.

15c certainly sounds cheap. This begs the question, why did someone as canny and capable as Charles price it so low? I guess you will find out in the coming months.

This company has been particularly good at selling the sizzle but never actually delivering the sausage. They are better at designing snappy web sites and glossy PR campaigns than actually building and selling scooters.

Every enthusiastic punter on this thread has over the past 15 years kept pointing towards the next quarterly report and when that disappoints, they point to the one after always hoping that the promised performance eventuates. It never has. An endlessly repeating cycle.
