well i think u have to take into account that MNC only gained control of Hampton with 71.9% at the end of July... and that coincides with when the shareprice began its recent upwards trend. so its still only very recently that MNC has come onto the radar , so recent in fact that many institutions and fund managers may still not even have heard of it. But that is all changing now.

And bear in mind from a trading perspective there was a placement at 15c in April and another one in July also at 15c, in total 126 million new shares issued. Yet it has barely traded below that level, so any new investors would have to "pay up" and chase it higher.

Considering the average daily volume a few months ago was less than 500,000 and now may be closer to 1 million daily that takes quite a few weeks of trading to flush out the opportunistic investors who bought shares at 15c and were looking to sell for a quick profit between 18-and 20 cents. Not a bad 20-33 % gain in this market, so hardly surprising the price was capped for a while, regardless of comparitive value.

Given the size of average volume is so light you would think alot of holders are simply not willing to sell at these levels...which makes it difficult for any serious size buyer to get filled without chasing the price too high... ( a huge number of shares also escrowed for 12 months)..but again this is starting to change now.

In addition it is very clear a huge amount of money will be required to take Los Calatos from exploration to mining , so until a strategic partner or serious funding deal is found there will be some question marks... but that can all change pretty quickly especially if the Chinese players get a sense of the potential, regardless of the resource being inferred or measured.

So all in all it is very early days yet and there is along way to go. Good time to join.
