@Scooterdog - have you forgotten how long the Liberals have been in power in this country? and that we had Covid with all the cost this involved?
IMO Albanesi has done the honourable thing so far, he promised a vote, we got to vote 'yes' or 'no'; the 'no' vote won - and no need to go on about it. Australia will get back to business. I was surprised at the sadness (and not anger!) in the Aboriginal camp watching the Aboriginal channel last night, including "A bran nue day' . . . which was surprisingly entertaining, with some catchy tunes, I had neglected to see it, when it was first produced.
If there is one thing our Aboriginal brothers and sisters are good at, it is their sense of humour - and it will save them and us in the long run. They are not setting up organisations to kill us whiteys all in our sleep, but they will slowly and surely emancipate to becoming 'white' Australians, with all the duties, daily routines of going to work etc. - that is, even if we 'whiteys' are still going to work.
It is a changing world out there, better focus on that, guys and gals~! Go well Taurisk
