no buyers for options, page-24

i have held past gdn shares and options..years ago now when the price of the heads hit that magic 1.25 ...during the heads fall and while the option price speed past their exercice price i decided to call sciano on the phone for his take on the options...his reply was amazing.."their not my problem" and "why should i care".

slamming down the phone a light went on....he didnt want the options exercised..obviously..but to speak to a share and option holder ( i held millions) with that contempt just summed it up for me..and his style of management..and him as a person i guess.

now before some cheer about the above...i got in real early..before drilling began..i made a tidy profit but could have made much more.

this is where i feel share and option holders are the moment..sciano, i believe, wants the options to expire worthless.
as for sciano not wanting to own shares because its hard for to sell them and considered dead money...get off the grass..he knows better. i think i can recall reading that other company m.d's DO actually own shares in their companies because they see it as a good investment...how stupid are they??????????????

this sums up sciano, gdn and the respect he has for those that pay his wages.
