"The move into Gaza looks like it will be a slow and methodical ground assault.That is a mistake.The Hamas kids will be running backwards and sideways, using RPGs, and hit/run tactics. A slow moving convoy will not be able to respond fast enough to angry teenagers using sporadic small arms fire.Better tactics, small teams running flat out into known areas of Hamas, engaging them individually. Then those fire teams pull back to the armoured support, to be replaced by another small team running ahead. These teams will always be "fresh", and able to move fast on foot through the rubble and alleys of Gaza cities.IDF SF teams have this down pat.It is completely different to going in against a standard Infantry enemy, because the enemy is just running around being "gun men"rather than part of a force trying to hold ground. Start the run, and kill anyone with a gun.Then, during the night time, target any groups that show up in the combat zone on thermal imaging from drones."
