What planet are you on? ALB was wrong-footed. LTR and GR/Hancock played them like a fiddle.. At best, ALB will be allowed to come back with A LOT of cash for a 49% stake, more likely something smaller plus an offtake agreement, because their LiOH plant NEEDS LTR’s spod.
We’re going mining, now, unless ALB comes back in four months with a significantly higher price, and they’ll have to pay an even higher premium, because we’ll be that much closer to commissioning.
GR might still have a move or two to make, but the creeping takeover is going to take a considerable amount of time, and a straight takeover bid will require BOD approval and the shareholders approval, and 20% is great for blocking a takeover, but it’s near bubkis, to force a takeover.
