Agree with all that. I have personal reasons for wanting to cash out now. Most of my shares left are in my wife's super and well above the proposed new caps and she is trapped in super for over 5 more years as only 54yrs. I've sold only enough LTR to buy her shares out of super at this stage. However if I do that, I will be cash poor again for 5 more years and this throws my retirement plans up in the air. I will probably have to leave my wife's LTR shares in super now and have to live with 30% tax on unrealised gains beyond July 2025 eating into my invested capital. I expect the capital gains to be good beyond 2025, so I would have much preferred these shares were out of super if the new tax comes into effect. For those of you who have made the decision to retire, securing enough cash and future income stream is a major stressor. Anyway, this is the only reason I wish I''d sold more. Nothing to do with the companies prospects. It all has to do with proposed retirement and financial manoeuvring prior to any tax changes.
