He derided people that disagreed with his view.
And like McCrae, believed that he was a messiah. He loved the attention.
Scorps needs to acknowledge that his epistles might just have swayed some holders to remain as holders when they would otherwise sold, especially when doubt existed.
McCrae has pedalled his story, despite all his critics, continued to spend shareholders money when he must have known what was coming, does not appear to be able to acknowledge his errors, and wants to continue on regardless of the distress and losses that he has inflicted on the members of the company. Perhaps he should look at Downer EDI and then decide whether he should continue to be Chairman.
Holders who are in doubt as to what they should do need to make an assessment as to whether they can afford to lose more. If not, they need to sell now and move on to invest elsewhere, after they have done their research of the companies that they are going to invest in. Holders should take notice of the warning that after such a savage fall, all too often the recovery for that stock is long coming if indeed it does recover. Sometimes the smallest loss is the first loss. The stock may continue to fall.
