The resolution was adopted unanimously by all 21 members of the InterTribal Association of Arizona. The certification of their action was signed by the President of the Association. Nothing has been superseded. (That's how we spell it in this country.) The Navajo Nation government has changed since then, the old guard was replaced by some fresh faces, but neither the old leadership nor the new leadership has endorsed what NTEC is doing with AZL. If BLM ever allows a mine -- I know your hope springs eternal -- the Navajo may agree that their 75%-non-Navajo company is as entitled as anyone to operate it. If AZL thought it was buying favors from BLM with its tokenism, almost everyone now realizes it didn't work.
