Brainchip and Intel are partners. So my understanding is Brainchip is using Intel's partnership as a gateway to find their potential clients.
In return Intel gets to see how Brainchip is doing it's business having the ''lead''
Ofcourse this is my assumption, but we are all assuming things here, so why not?

With regards to ''protection of IP'', I believe BRN still has to have a few more patents to be granted/approved.
So is it fully protected already?
So if there are more patent application awaiting, why do we have partners?
We have been having partners for a few years now, so that is nothing new for BRN to let other companies play with their tech. Starting from 2016 we have had collaboration with Safran, Veritone, SoftCryptum, Socionext, Vorago, Magic Eye, Valeo....
We have had partnerships with all these some of which we don't even hear about anymore.
Does not mean the tech is in trouble purely based on we are partnered with another party; could be one of many reasons but not the sole reason.

And just because Intel is partnered with Brainchip is no guarantee of our success either.
We are one of many partners and if one of Intel's ecosystem partners want our tech, then we are in luck.
It is still upto Brainchip though to sell it.
