I don't want dividends. I want Neuren use it's new cash cow to fund as many phase 3 trials as they can handle and then license out NNZ-2591, resulting in a market cap exceeding CSL, Neuren's share price having appreciated to $1,000 a share over the next 5-6 years and I being comfortably retired after selling down chunks of shares as the price goes through $25, $50,$100, $200, etc.
a TO might cut this journey short. But if the Ph 2 trials are good, every $ Neuren reinvests in the next steps will likely have a massive return. Also, the more $ they have in the bank the more powerful their negotiating position. Makes "if you don't pay our asking price we'll just go it alone" a credible threat.
But my personal preference is they license and never sell. Love the idea of a $1000 share with a $50 per annum dividend yield. If you do the numbers you find that is actually quite plausible.
