Nevertheless, it would be a long bow to compare aboriginal cultural beliefs, which is nature based and devoid of war to the murderous religions of Christians, Jews and Muslims (all people of the book). The reality is, if you marginalize any population, destroy their way of life and treat them with disrespect, then expect them to react - sometimes with violence.
As to your comment regarding their treatment women and children, look to how many women and children are killed and maimed in white society. None of it excusable, but we are not exactly innocent of those crimes - particularly when it comes to religion, like the catholic church.
