But didn't Tony mention that LTR were also thinking of producing a lithium sulphide product which is easier than getting into LiOH or LiCO3 refining? This is cheaper and would require less chemical expertise (which GS doesn't have herself despite her mate (CE at MIN) now cranking up and getting involved? And there was talk of Sumitomo and LG getting involved in LTR's downstream processing, especially after Japan announced attractive processing incentives and Toyota stating that they also were now determined to catch up and reclaim market share?

I would love to hear TG's impression of our most likely future direction regarding downstream processing. But I have a feeling that the sulphide step is as far as LTR might venture, so we can focus on mining and further exploration. Gina only wants our SC6, probably nothing else from us at this stage? But where might she fit with other players from Japan and India likely to also want JV's?
