Actually I have some sympathy for someone Langton's age being filled with such hate and bitterness toward your fellows Australians for all those decades. It must have a negative affect on the psyche through and once it's there in the subconscious it cannot be revoked.
There was a better way, she just chose the wrong way heavily influenced by persuasion of demonic protagonists I guess?
