Not only have I NOT avoided that topic, I've stated the fact more than once that with Iran's influence and finance, in the 1980s it morphed out of The Muslim Brotherhood, which in the 1970s, with Israel's OK, began operating schools, hospitals, clinics and other humane charitable functions in Gaza.
Obviously Israel thought that if the Gazan people were better-educated and healthier, they would not become radicalised. Sadly, and to their detriment, they misjudged.
