abc 4Corners program 23.10.23 analyses the Snowy Mark 2 disaster ie increased costs & delays (now $12b, originally $2b, won't be finished until 2028- but several experts in the abc program are pessimistic that the cost blowouts & delays have been resolved).
A big problem was that insufficient exploratory shafts were drilled to properly understand the geology-- now discovering too much wet earth!
