The government never gave me, nor denied me, a tennis watchers certificate.
You seem to be arguing that the certificates are pointless but because hetrosexuals can have them so should others.
I am arguing equality. The government should get out of issuing tennis watchers and Marriage certificates to everyone.
The government should only legislate where there is a need.
