Native Title issue in Enterprise gas field has been resolved. Enterprise will produce gas by April 2024 or earlier. Enterprise is capable of producing 50 TJ per day and will enable Otway Gas Plant to operate at its rated capacity of 205 TJ per day. Currently, Otway is only operating at 50 TJ per day due to Origin Energy withholding nominations. By 1st of January 2024, the minimum gas nomination from origin Energy will be much higher which will enable Otway Gas Plant to run between 75% to 100% capacity once you add Enterprise gas production.
Enterprise gas is not under contract with Origin Energy.
Waitsia Stage 2 early stage commissioning work has started. 500 workers and staff working two shifts to finish the gas plant. Could be ready by April 2024.
