The present Labour govt would likely see it through imo as the refinery business is being built locally.
Tianqi owns 25% of Greenbushes - SQM owns 50% of Mt Holland - Albemarle owns 50% of Wodgina - and Andover would likely be a JV with locals like Wesfarmer or IGO
Once SQM comes up with an acceptable TO bid by the board - they could start buying on market and taking their 19.99% threshold higher
