so AZS takeover price is a binding transaction and is $3.52, valuing AZS at $1.63B (60% of andover project) so 100% its worth $2.72B for the project.

This is great for wildcat since it sets a bar in the market for what a Pilbara asset is worth to the big players. Undoubtedly the AZS thread is going to have its fair share of way to cheap i would have let it go for $6 etc etc, but how many of those hotcrappers do M&A profressionally?

the big thing people are not realising is what is the size of AZS asset? they have none, notice no talk of tonnes in the announcement today, thats because there is no MRE. only a self proclaimed target of 100-240MT. now of course all the players have their modelling that they plug in the drill results (including a model for wildcat i am sure) from that their inhouse experts will give an indication of ore body size, but there is a risk the ore body doesn't meet up to forecasts and so SQM have to factor that in on their bid particularly since they are bidding pre MRE. AZS also have to think our target is 100-240MT but what if it looks like drilling is only showing the low end?

lets assume a mid point of 150MT grading 1.1%. this is close to the broker report by Bells. if we do then a speculative development value of a lithium pilbara ore body is worth 100MT = $1.8B value.

Wildcat now becomes the only potentially sizeable ore body in the Pilbara with a bonus of a mining lease. no one else has come close to demonstrating these hits.
