The more I look at the graph, the more creeped out I am at the poor approach to data analysis and interpretation... at least half the treatment group appear to be non-responders (the data points above the best-practice control group, dotted line). I would be separating those out, run genetic screens to determine if there is a genetic predictor of treatment response, then perform another correlation analysis of the responders. < definitely getting a stronger outcome there. I mean, who is the PI of this study, come on!
