Thanks for that. So it means we should be making a profit before tax of around 75-85 AUD per tonne over the last 4 months and up till now. Then minus 30% for the tax for profit after tax.
If you times that by the number of tonnes sold it still feels like the profit number is too big. I have then calculated around 2.5 billion AUD profit.. So what am I missing here?... I suppose the investment projects but that is only like 300-500 million for the quarter. FFI could be taking 200-300million each quater i suppose. So that is around 1.7 billion Aud. With about 1.4 billion (60-70% payout) potentially payable to shareholders in March 2024 from just this quarter?
So if prices stay around this 110-120 USD per tonne I feel the mid term dividend will be around 1.10/20 aud per share.
Not sure how you feel about this estimation.
