To the list of reasons ‘why’ you can also add, woeful management at the top, and extremely poor merchandising both in product style selection and execution of the plan at shop level. If this was an army both those officers would have been replaced ages ago. They are just lucky this analogy doesn’t extend to the Russian army because there they would have been shot as well. Surely Ryan has just this present half to turn things around. I cannot help but think there is a lot of Blundy intervention going on in the background, but is he acting in the interests of all shareholders is the question or is he positioning for another ‘Best & Less’ outcome?
