Maybe not a scam Beaches 811 but past rumblings from Fred Bart suggest he never wanted to go public with the IP but at the end of the day, the listing provided a medium to long term funding facility. He from all reports has a distain for AKP shareholders who he views as a thorn in his side. Should Fred decide to pull his funding, the company would go into voluntary administration with the largest shareholder clearly in the best position to negotiate a monetary arrangement to acquire the assets of the company with the cash raised used to pay any creditors, administrators and then shareholders at an agreed dollar value whatever that is? This would deliver Fred effective privatisation of the IP and business (which he has always believeed it should be) with the Chinese maybe or maybe not particpating in the underlying process. It is a playbook that has often been used by money centric promoters to gain control of an enterprise that invariably thrives in its second commercial iteration. This post is pure speculation and I have absolutely no tangible evidence that it would be considered let alone actioned. I am a holder in the company so I would stand to lose should this be Fred & Cos strategy but that said, given the instatiable appetite to making money these days at any cost, it would not overly surprise me.
