Offshore in the late 80's LWD was pretty basic and you were lucky to have a resistivity tool in the string. LWD GR and Res becoming more common onshore these days but my last onshore job was a well drilled without LWD.

I was offshore on logging ops in the 1980s and never had problems with there being no resistivity tool working...what on earth are you talking about??. Are people really interested in what you did in the 1980s for God's sake!
