The independents have been quite vocal about the policies they support and the ones they don't and I'm sure their electorates knew this.
Eg all support the NBN and did so prior to the election.

What I said was they had no allegiance to either major party and running as an independent makes that very clear. Again the people who voted for them knew this.
The people who voted for them trust them greatly and will be looking on them to make the best decision in their interests and the interests of the country.
