Actually short interest grew around 1.7m shares with 3.1m short sold against a volume of 23.7m in Oct
7% of vol is true shorts, implying 93% of the volume is long sells - the real culprit behind driving prices lower.
Much more likely the co leaks CR news to favoured friends & family so they can dump on the pumps, rather than somehow collude with short sellers to keep prices down.
