Yeah Kiwi, but I discarded my carefully constructed list of questions a little earlier today when I realised that the more detailed ones would be answered by the away team when they return. The question of substance that was answered with certainty was about the negotiations with Xstrata - the discussion was that indeed the negotiations with Xstrata are happening now.

My other questions were about the eia, eis, emp, timing of the bfs and jv. Given that I have been involved with eia's, eis's and emp's I know they can be easily planned and remedied, but they need a bit of time to write, so would expect a fully working team to have them completed inside 3 to 4 weeks. I assume the article of 20 August was retrospective and was completed, approved and then printed some days after the actual interview or copy from a report. That would mean that the BFS may be out as indicated earlier, in time for the presentation as discussed by Macleod, or just after. We may have Peter Landau's update next week on whether it is Xstrata. Previously when I contacted Nkwe (three weeks ago) it was concluded that XS is the number one option another company as the secondary option (discussions were said to have been held) and Nkwe operating the mine alone was a possibility, but it is more likely that XS will JV.
