The announcement is strange. It is not powered for efficacy so the results don’t mean much. Similarly, it is not clear how they measured response as they acknowledge the need for confirmatory scans among trial participants. Many of the criteria for measuring a response to treatment rests on scan measurements so it is unclear how they have decided there was a partial response or not.
