Yes, they did lose the case.
When I said that AVZ were the plaintiff, I was indicating that AVZ must have thought it necessary to take Fat Tail to court to prevent them from getting the retail shareholders' email addresses. In other words (I'm guessing now), maybe there is something that the Fat Tail could offer the larger AVZ shareholders to get their votes? But, realistically, what could this be? How are my shares any different from the shares of larger retail shareholders?

Assuming that AVZ have followed all relevant and applicable to their activities laws (by the look of it, they have) at the end, no matter what all these freeloader-wannabe-directors, corrupt DRC's politicians and all other opportunists do, I am very confident that AVZ will win all pending court cases and the DRC will have to pay damages - I don't see how else this could end - it is a clear-cut case, should not be too difficult for the judges to see who did what and when and to draw right conclusions.

Also, I think that AVZ will be updating us more often now then they have in the past because things are getting pretty ugly now and AVZ directors feel less restrained by the circumstances and feel more free to communicate with us, the shareholders.
    Anyway, let's wait and see.
