    "The updated resource - why does it take so long to plug the new numbers into an existing model?"
    Unfortunately it is not as simple as that given the number of factors that influence the resource estimate of an aquifer. Call up a Hydro Geologist and ask this same question. You will then have an appreciation of the complexity of inserting new numbers into an existing model.
