I think it may be that a lot of parties have factored in a Special dividend again. I am less certain of that - If I take that out then I get around 34c as a dividend annually or under a 3% dividend before franking - I think that this is not an exciting share it is an accumulation of other stocks and as such not particularly wide either so not a darling. When the cash via Special div was flowing it had a following but it can be a dull stock.
Below 3% I am not in the game because I cannot see where the future is - I would rather buy BHP or RIO.
I think they need to relook the make-up of their business they in turn get dividends and dont pass these on (everyone expected a larger Special div last year - didnt get one).
I sold a whole bunch at $13.20 and above. Will look to afs for clarity before committing more cannot see where this stock fits into my portfolio at the moment. Not an income stream and not a growth stream.
