and the spread between STX and TPD is growing also. I have a lazy $20k in my bank and thinking do I buy more STX or TPD?? Three weeks ago, there wasn't anything in it now there is almost a 10% spread.
Today, with that cash I could have bought either 50,633 STX (ie $0.395 per share) or 100,000 TPD (ie $0.20 per share). Convert the TPD via the ratio of 0.4824 and I get 48,280 STX shares. That is a 9.5% difference !!! We all know that this is all due to STX being sold down by shorters - no arguments !!
Why the premium to buy TPD shares over STX shares when they should be in synchronicity? Someone is buying TPD at this premium and why are they doing this?
Are we absolutely certain that a superior offer for TPD will not eventuate? We know the AFR article was full of untruths
Will the TPD shareholders really vote Yes?? - who knows - not me - to any of it !!
