Let's look at production reporting.
They are claiming 80% heap leach copper recovery over the quarter for 30.9 t recovered. So with 55,560 t ore stacked that means 38.6 t of Cu stacked, so stacked ore grade would be 0.07% Cu (rather than the claimed 2%), which has used 13.2 kg/ acid/tonne ore. This is obviously far from the truth. The 80% recovery claim is likely to refer to SX solution copper transfer.
This shows a lack of metallurgical accounting credibility within the organisation, and anyone with any experience can see the use of deceptive creative accounting. Also there is no future ore mentioned, so they have only one months' worth of ore left to stack then production falls off the cliff.



As for ESG claims, they just refurbished the plant, and the "Net Zero" manager could have cut power consumption by 20%, but no, he does not understand the concept of energy efficiency (and an immediate cut in CO2 emissions on a site run by diesel powered generators), rather focuses some day putting in solar panels, hence has "Net Zero" knowledge of the hierarchy of energy policy to cut costs and emissions.
