good on abbott for not kowtowing

Can't blame the independents for flexing their muscle but I respect Mr Abbott for not grovelling to all their demands. If it costs the Coalition government so be it, I suspect with a Green controlled Senate and the independents in the lower house that government will be a poisoned chalice. The independents will be under the pump next election if they let the ALP form a minority government.
