Yes, this trading halt is intriguing.
We do know the drilling program has been underway for some time now. If the t/h is simply due to a drilling rig mechanical problem that has occured, then I can't see how it can take 24 hours to report it. A simple sentence would suffice. If the t/h is related to an update on the drilling results to date, then based on my and other's experience ( which may count for nothing) its generally the case that such results don't prompt a t/h. The sudden drop in share price yesterday is a bit of concern, but its a very illiquid stock so any modest selling can gap the price down in an instant.
So, until we get an announcement, it remains a puzzle wrapped in a mystery
